An organisation in collaboration with Ninsun Project, ISOMER, Cry for Recognition and Athena Forum.
Isomer, a Belgian association of professionals advocating for evidence-based medical treatments for patients with gender dysphoria. They question the social tendency to define gender identity as a characteristic that is completely separate from biological sex, as well as the current gender-affirming treatments that are often offered to these people. They advocate a respectful approach to individuals who report suffering from gender dysphoria.
Cry for Recognition was founded in 2021 as a support group for parents of a child with gender dysphoria. Our group was formed out of disbelief and outrage at how our children were unilaterally confirmed for medical transition, without serious investigation and without our stories as parents being taken into account. The name Cry for Recognition refers to a fundamental desire, the desire to be recognized. We believe that this lack forms the basis of the irrational desire to be someone else. Healing can only be achieved by learning to accept yourself, by regaining confidence in your dignity.
Athena Forum was founded to confront to the growing political, institutional, and societal shift across Europe: the erosion of sex-based rights through ideological capture, the suppression of dissent and debate, and the striking absence of civil society organisations willing to confront this change.
Athena Forum is a European think tank and strategic hub working to safeguard and advance sex-based rights across law, policy, and civil society â and to confront their growing misrepresentation in public discourse. It brings together legal, medical and policy experts, alongside feminists, journalists, and grassroots advocates; combining skills and expertise to ensure these rights remain visible, coherent, and politically protected, while strengthening democratic accountability across European institutions.
